You do not need / want Ubuntu or RaspiOS as Kodi Software has not been optimised for the Raspberry Pi. I had installed a fresh install of the raspberry os on a 8gb sd card then put it into the raspberry 4 and proceeded to up grade to kodi I turned away from the screen and when I looked back the screen was black / tried restarting the raspberry but it just hung / have reinstalled raspberry on the card and will try again to up grade to v19 So what this proves is the kodi v19 is needed to be installed on the raspberry pi 4 The GPU in a device determines what media can be played using hardware decoding and modern features like HDR, and the CPU determines if any unsupported codecs can be software decoded for playback by ffmpeg. Next I came across a site that included some files via terminal then install kodi / kodi icon did not show up so uninstalled Kodi /then reinstalled this time kodi 19 was installed and every thing works We are using two cores to emulate N64: Parallel-N64 (previously named Mupen64plus) an optimized/rewritten Nintendo 64 emulator made specifically for libretro Mupen64plus (previously named Glupen64) a straight port of Mupen64plus to libretro Mupen64plus is faster, and Parellel-N64 is more accurate. The LibreELEC 'Generic' image supports a (very) broad range of x8664 compatible hardware using AMD, Intel, and nVidia GPU hardware. ![]() Hi in case others are reading this post Yesterday I in stall kodi on a fresh install of linux Mint 20.2 this did not go well V18.6 and missing was the Kodi inputstream adaptive and RTMP input so uninstalled it
